Meeting room reservations for 2026
IRWD will begin accepting 2026 calendar reservations for IRWD’s Community Room and Duck Club beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 1. The Duck Club and Community Room are available for use by IRWD customers when not required for District business or operations.
The meeting rooms are available for free on a first-come, first-served basis, and may be used no more than once a month per person, residence, group and/or organization, and are subject to certain eligibility requirements.
The Community Room is available to the public Monday to Friday from 5 to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The Duck Club is available for use daily from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
To reserve a meeting room, visit IRWD.com/community/meeting-rooms. Check the calendar for available dates and review and follow the application instructions, which include an important FAQ (Community Meeting Room, The Duck Club) as well as guidelines for the use of the rooms. Please allow up to eight business days for confirmation of your request.

Payments being returned in the mail by error
Irvine Ranch Water District is aware of payments that were sent to our P.O. Box in Los Angeles being returned to customers through the United States Postal Service.
If your check payment has been returned to you, please resend it via one of these three options:
- Mail it to the P.O. Box listed on the payment stub.
- Mail it to our office at 15600 Sand Canyon Ave., Irvine 92618, attention to Customer Service.
- Use the drop box in our parking lot at 15600 Sand Canyon Ave., Irvine.
Late payment fees will not be assessed at this time. If you have already been charged a late fee due to a returned check, please email us at customerservice@irwd.com.
Financial planning keeps customer rates low
Irvine Ranch Water District has a history of strategic forecasting in everything we do.
Since our formation more than 60 years ago, we’ve anticipated and met the water and sewer infrastructure needs of our service area.
We have done the same for our fiscal planning — building a solid financial foundation to ensure our history of excellent service and low rates for our customers continues long into the future. As a result, our rates are among the lowest in Orange County.
A key element of this foundation is setting aside funds now to pay for future expenses related to refurbishing and replacing approximately $2 billion worth of pipelines, treatment plants and other infrastructure we own and operate to serve water and provide sewer service to more than 445,000 residents and a daytime population of over 600,000.
All of IRWD’s facilities, whether it be the groundwater wells, pump stations or water tanks, will need to be repaired at some point and eventually replaced.
To prepare for both short-term and long-term expenditures for these projects, IRWD has set aside $394 million in restricted funds to be used for these infrastructure needs in accordance with General Accepted Accounting Principles and the Government Accounting Standards Board.
Like saving money for a new car or to replace an aging roof, IRWD is saving now so our customers will not see a large rate increase when these repairs and replacements are needed.

Proactive planning for the future provides IRWD customers today’s gold standard in service and reliability at the lowest possible cost.
