At IRWD, we are commited to the communities we serve. The District actively collaborates with those who live and work in our service areas. 
 

Events and classes

• IRWD offers workshops, tours and various events throughout the year. We also participate in community events within our service area. Visit IRWD.com/events to see what's coming up.

Open to locals

• Reserve a meeting room
  IRWD customers can request a reservation for one of two meeting rooms: 
  
  • 1. The Duck Club, perfect for parties and events
  • 2. Community Room, only for sit-down meetings 

• Visit the marsh
  The San Joaquin Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary is open from dawn to dusk every day. Admission is free. 

For students

• Water education programs
  For both in and out of the classroom, IRWD has online resources for students of all ages.
  
  
• Poster contest
  IRWD hosts an annual water awareness poster contest for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. 
  
  
• Just for fun
  Try out our games, videos and coloring pages for all ages.
