Evening Community Tour
Aug. 6, 6:30-8:30 p.m.IRWD offers customers a chance to take a guided tour through our facilities - and now we're inviting the whole family!
In a special evening edition, the Aug. 6 Community Tour will guide customers on a walk through the San Joaquin Marsh where we'll join Sea & Sage Audobon Society for a bat-viewing experience.
The evening tour will include:
- Walking tour of San Joaquin Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary
- Informative videos
- Microscope demonstration
- Water efficiency discussion
- Q&A session
- Dinner at the Duck Club
- Craft activity for kids
- Bat-viewing opportunity
Community tours are free for IRWD customers, but registration is required. This tour will be limited to 40 guests. Children must be 5 years or older (babes in arms OK). No wagons, carts, bicycles, or scooters. Closed-toe shoes are required. IRWD will provide guests with safety gear for the tour and bat viewing. All guests must adhere to the Marsh rules.
When: Wednesday, Aug. 6, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Where: Park at the Duck Club (driving instructions will be provided)

- First and last name
- Address
- Name of each additional household guest
- Note if each guest is an adult or child
- Note if any guests are requesting a vegetarian meal
If we receive cancellations prior to the tour, we will invite those on the waitlist based on first come, first served.
