Edible Gardening Workshop
Feb. 7, 10-11:30 a.m.Free IRWD workshop co-hosted by UC Master Gardeners of Orange County
Timing is everything when it comes to growing spring and summer vegetables successfully.
Understanding the science behind planting schedules and techniques will transform your home garden results.
You've likely encountered plants for sale before conditions are truly right for planting—learning to start your own seeds not only protects against this pitfall but also opens a much wider variety of vegetables to grow. Equally important is knowing when and how to harvest your crops at peak ripeness, which helps you stay one step ahead of pests eager to share your bounty.
Join this class to master the fundamentals that make the difference between a struggling garden and a thriving one.
This workshop will include a Q&A session and planting demonstration.
