IRWD Announces New Winter Hours at Residential Recycled Water Filling Station

As of November 2, 2015 the IRWD Residential Recycled Water Filling Station is operating under new winter hours. 
The filling station will continue to be available to customers 7 days per week, however hours of operation on some days will be shifted to accommodate earlier sunsets during the winter season. The station will be closed during rain.

Winter Season Filling Station Hours are as follows:

  • Monday - 1 PM to 5 PM
  • Tuesday - 8 AM to Noon
  • Wednesday - 1 PM to 5 PM
  • Thursday - 8 AM to Noon
  • Friday - Noon to 5 PM
  • Saturday - 8 AM to 3 PM
  • Sunday - 10 AM to 5 PM
The filling station is located at the IRWD headquarters building, 15600 Sand Canyon Avenue, Irvine in the parking lot off Sand Canyon and Waterworks Way. 


To participate, first-time visitors must provide a California driver’s license, an IRWD water bill and a completed application form. Customers must also provide their own containers. Up to 300 gallons of recycled water may be taken per visit, with no limit on the number of visits per day.
