Laguna Altura Sewer Line Cleaning

Laguna Altura Sewer Line Cleaning

From April 25 to mid-May, 2018, Irvine Ranch Water District's Collection System Department will perform routine maintenance on the sewer lines in Laguna Altura, using clean, pressurized water to remove deposits in the line.

Residents are asked to leave their toilet lids down for the duration of the cleaning -- or until work on their street is completed -- to prevent possible splashing of toilet water due to the release of air from the system. This is strongly advised for residents of Tesoro, Medina, Umbria, Triana and Moretti, who might observe gurgling from their toilets or drains. Air being pushed through the system may escape through the plumbing -- rather than roof vents -- due to the close proximity of sewer laterals to the main line along those streets.

Work hours: From 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday

Completed work: (Check back for updates on streets where the cleaning has been completed.)
