Sand Canyon Reservoir

Sand Canyon Reservoir is located in Orange County in the San Joaquin Hills area west of the San Diego Freeway (I-405) adjacent to the Strawberry Hills golf course. The reservoir has a surface area of 42 acres, a storage volume of 768 acre feet and an average depth of 18 feet.  The watershed area is approximately 6.7 square miles (4,288 acres).  The reservoir is currently used for both seasonal and operational storage.
