Bandai Namco

Bandai Namco Holdings USA Inc. originated in Tokyo, Japan. The company combines NAMCO, a video game developer and publisher, and Bandai, a manufacturer of character merchandise such as toys, children’s entertainment and trading cards.

In addition to achieving its goal of providing new forms of entertainment and character merchandising to offer “Fun for All into the Future,” Bandai Namco takes pride in being a WaterStar. Its Irvine corporate facility is dual-plumbed and contains efficient WaterSense toilets and urinals that use only recycled water, while sensor-activated faucets throughout its building dispense drinking water. The company’s 1.6-acre sustainable landscaping features drought-tolerant plant material, permeable hardscape, runoff capture, and drip irrigation with recycled water. These measures allow Bandai Namco to save 1.5 million gallons of water annually and qualify for WaterStar status.
