California Coastal Cleanup Day

Join us for our annual Watershed Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 19, and be a part of this year’s statewide tally for California Coastal Cleanup Day. Volunteers are needed to clear trash from San Diego Creek before it reaches the ocean.

California Coastal Cleanup Day brings awareness to the state’s marine debris problem and provides a community event for direct involvement. Join the movement for an environment where people and ecosystems can survive and thrive! This statewide event is organized every September by the California Coastal Commission. IRWD is proud to partner with Orange County Coastkeeper as an official cleanup site.

All participants must submit a signed waiver, including supervising parents or guardians, prior to the event.
