Community Tour - San Joaquin Marsh Special
Nov. 7, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.At this special Community Tour, you'll learn about the history of the San Joaquin Marsh, how its Natural Treatment System cleans urban runoff, and experience the wildlife, scenic views and tranquility that makes this space a hidden gem of Orange County.
The tour requires 3 miles of walking. Please wear a hat and comfortable closed-toe shoes.
The day will include:
- Walking tours of San Joaquin Marsh
- Presentations about why this wildlife sanctuary matters
- Lunch
- Q&As with the experts
- Water-saving tips that can help you save money on your bill.
- Informative videos
Community tours are free for IRWD customers, but registration is required. Participants, including guests, must be at least 16 years old and must not have attended a tour in the past year. Service address verification may be required.
