Photo Walk at the Marsh

Saturday, Aug. 29, 6–8:30 p.m. at the San Joaquin Marsh

Photographers of all skill levels are invited to enjoy “Golden Hour” at the San Joaquin Marsh, when soft, warm light transforms the Marsh into a landscape photographer’s dream. Join us to learn more about IRWD’s wildlife sanctuary, then be led on a easy, slow-paced walk through the Marsh. Guests are encouraged to take photos on the go, and the walk will also include periodic stops for stationary photography.

Share your best photos from the walk with us, and see them featured in IRWD’s social media and newsletters!

Please limit your equipment to handheld cameras and no more than one portable tripod. Both DSLR and cell phone cameras are welcome! Guests must bring their own equipment that they are familiar with; IRWD will not provide cameras. While photography lessons are not included in the Marsh walk, this is a great opportunity to learn from other photographers and improve your skills while exploring a hidden Orange County gem.

Please bring your own water and bug repellant; supplies will not be available on-site.

This event is free and open to IRWD customers 16 years and older. Participants are allowed one guest each (must also be an IRWD customer). Registration is required.
