Today Irvine Ranch Water District crews continue to work on restoring a second bypass water main which is necessary to restore water service to Williams Canyon. This work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, December 29th. Work on the first bypass water main was completed on December 24th.

Approximately 28 customers in Williams Canyon remain without water service to their home, pending completion of the second bypass water main.  These customers have access to water for drinking, sanitation purposes, and animals from a 2,000-gallon water truck and several 500-gallon water buffalos that have been staged in the canyon.  The water truck and water buffalos are located approximately 900 feet west of the “Y” (bridge).

Customers with questions can call the Irvine Ranch Water District 24 hour emergency hotline at (949) 453-5300.
