Water service at normal pressure is expected to resume for Irvine Ranch Water District customers in Williams Canyon by 9am on Wednesday December 29. Before using the water you should flush your plumbing system by opening up all the cold water faucets in the house and letting them run until the water is clear. You may also want to flush your hot water heater.
If the water piping on your property was damaged, the water was turned off at your meter to prevent water loss and potential damage to your property. You should contact a licensed plumber to repair the piping from the meter to your home .
Customers without water service to their home can continue to obtain drinking water from the water tank located on Williams Canyon Road by the split in the road near the bridge.
