2018 Fix a Leak Contest Winners

Thanks and congratulations to our customers who participated in the 2018 Fix a Leak week campaign in partnership with EPA WaterSense. We had over 300 submissions to our Water Efficiency Training Center and received proactive property repair photos of toilets, faucets, showers, irrigation valves, and sprinklers, IRWD presented the participation gift cards to Karineh Arakelian of Tustin (third place), Clinton Yap of Irvine (second place) and Leila Belkora (first place, pictured in photo) of Irvine.

In honor of Fix a Leak Week, March 19–25, IRWD hosted a contest where customers could win a $500 Home Depot gift card—just for checking for water leaks. Participants completed our online customer training, took a short quiz and submitted proactive Fix a Leak photos for a chance to win the grand prize. Customers completed the training and quiz in about 10–15 minutes, learning how to identify and fix leaks around their home. Winners were notified at the end of March 2018.
