Information for Participating Customers and Qualifying Conditions

Has your water use recently increased but you can’t figure out why?  You could have a leak and not know it.  IRWD always encourages our customers to fix their leaks quickly. In conjunction with the national Fix a Leak Week March 12-18, hosted by the Environmental Protection Agency's WaterSense, IRWD will offer an opportunity to win $100 toward the cost of your repair from Feb. 1 thru March 18th. 

Here's how to enter:  

Not sure if you have a leak?  
1)    Watch our helpful two-minute video on How to Check for Leaks.
2)    Check your home for leaks.
3)    If you find a leak, have it fixed immediately.  
4)    Then attach your receipts to the Fix a Leak 2012 Official Entry form and submit to IRWD prior to March 18, 2012 to be entered into the drawing.
 
Conditions for participation

Your account must be in good standing and cannot be in arrears.

A copy of repair receipt must accompany the entry form or it will not be entered into the drawing.  It is recommended that you retain your original receipt in the event your entry is lost or damaged.  IRWD is not responsible for lost or damaged entries but will make an attempt to contact the customer in the event this occurs.   

Repair receipt must be dated February 1 – March 18, 2012 to qualify.

Winner Notification
Program winners will be randomly drawn in late April from the total pool of participating customers. The award amount will be for the cost of the repair as indicated on the receipt but not more than $100.  The award amount will appear as a credit on your water bill and may take up to two billing cycles to appear.
