Poster Contest

Each year Irvine Ranch Water District sponsors a Water Awareness Poster Contest to help remind students about the importance of water. Finalists' entries are sent on to competition at the Orange County level though the Municipal Water District of Orange County and on a regional level through Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. Below are the most recent winners:


Recent winners in IRWD poster contests include Tia Thompson of Tustin Ranch Elementary School (left) whose poster was selected by Metropolitan Water District as a winner. Her poster traveled Southern California on an artwork roadshow. At right is Jasmin Kung of Turtle Rock Elementary whose poster was featured in a recent calendar from the Metropolitan Water District.

Below are the posters created by Kris Kong of Plaza Vista Elementary and Albert Tung of Deerfield Elementary. Kris' poster was selected to be published in the 2008 MWD calendar. Albert's poster has been published in the 2007-08 school year calendar published by the Municipal Water District of Orange County. Congratulations!
