This is a free service offered by IRWD to owners of rental property within our District. If you sign up for IRWD's Property Management service, water service will automatically revert to the property owner's name until a new tenant moves in and establishes service. The meter is read for the final billing to the tenant who is moving out, but the water service is never turned off. This saves landlords from having to pay the $15 new account fee each time there is a change in tenancy.
