To promote water efficiency, Irvine Ranch Water District periodically holds landscape workshops. These free workshops are open to any residential customer in the IRWD service area. Workshop features both fact-filled talks and plant displays by local irrigation, landscape and gardening experts.

Workshop topics may include:
• How to water for plant health and lower water bills
• Irrigation system basics
• Landscape design basics

The next workshop will be held on Friday, September 26, 2008, from 6 to 9 p.m., with registration and exhibits beginning at 5:30 p.m. This event will take place at IRWD's headquarters, located at 15600 Sand Canyon Ave., Irvine, CA 92618.
