The Irvine Ranch Water District Board of Directors holds public meetings, which unless otherwise noted, are held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 5 p.m. at its headquarters, 15600 Sand Canyon Avenue in Irvine, California.

The District also maintains various committees to provide comprehensive study of important issues. These committees include the Engineering/Operations, Finance/Personnel, and the Water Resources Policy and Communications Committees. With each committee comprised of no more than two board members plus appropriate District staff, these meetings are open to the public and are held at IRWD headquarters.
